I remember reading somewhere of a patch someone created for FF7 PC that allowed for higher resolutions and other stuff. Can't find it, looked all over. Help. :help:

Are you sure this patch does exist? Anyways, if you're playing FF7 PC good luck, you'll need it (so many annoying problems with it...).

Yeah, but these are patches to enhance it. Also it don't work under XP without a manual hack.

I'm really interested in that part of a patch for displaying the game in a higher resolution (providing it does exist). So if anybody finds it please let me now... K?

Kaiser Sigma, that patch does exist, in fact it is sitting on my desktop right now. Let's see, maybe I can try PMing you and attaching it, how would that be? It is a patch for the Riva TNT card, but it works with other cards as well. So if I can't PM it to you, then if you wouldn't mind my looking up your E-Mail, I'll send it that way. Either way, you'll have it tonight.
sincerely,
sx/amniga

Omegainf, as I told Efrainman and Kaiser Sigma, this is a very large .exe file, 2.30 megs to be exact. I'll zip it tonight and send it tomorrrow. That is because it is getting late and I need to go to bed. Work tomorrow.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

Is there any chance that you could direct us to the site it came from, as I've never come accross it.

Is anyone successfully running the music patch? I keep getting a 217 error and it says that ffmusic.dll couldn't start. I followed the directions in the readmes. I have windows 98 and the nvidia patch.

I had to use an older version of the music patch to get it to work. It's the standalone version.
