anybody have this problem too?

Whenever I run it under winXp, the screen goes black, seems to change it's resolution and then return to windows without any message of anything ...

Ok it's the classic driver issue, but I updated my drivers (my cpu specs bellow) and it changed nothing...

However, when I installed it under win98se, it ran without any problem - the box says, under requirements: win98, 98se, Me, 2000, xp ...etc.. .... ...

Anybody can help me out?

Here's my computer's specs:

P4 1.6 ghz
Asus Mobo p4t...?... (doh... don't remember the model...)
--> If I'm right, it has an intel chipset
256 mb at 400mhz
Msi Geforce2 mx-400 64mb
--> detonator Xp vers 2.8.3.2
plenty of disk space
Sound blaster Live! value...

have you tried running it in windows xp compatibility mode, to do so look for the executable of the game and right click the file and select compatibility and choose 98 for xp to emulate.

winXP don't accept 640x480 resolution. Try using a highter resolution, like 800x600 or 1024x768.

Yeah sorry, I forgot to mention this; I did try the compatibility mode ... win98, 95, 2000 ... same thing all the time

And as for the resolution, who in hell still have a resolution of 640x480?

Anything else, idea, something? I'm lost!
