According to RPGFan, .hack will have the Japanese vocals in the North American release.

I hope this will be a trend for American companies releasing Japanese games.

A pretty interesting looking PS2 RPG series with more than a few resemblances to anime. RPGFan has a fairly decent summary of it at the article RZetlin linked to.
