Ah yes, the new NFS game. I am looking forward to that one as well. SH3 looks interesting, but I would like to hear some plot details more than anything. I remember I was really hyped after seeing the SH2 trailer, but SH3 just doesn't seem as interesting yet. I need a little more than screenshots.

DMC 2 looks great though.

Sorry for double posting the e3 thread. I didn't know that one already existed. I looked around for it after someone mentioned it, but couldn't find it.

The new NFS is the sequel to my all time favourite racing game NFS hot pursuit.

As for SH3, I ain't thrilled. I don't bother about long games anymore. Iwould get WWE SYM and THPS4 and NFSHP2 for sure, no doubt.

The new NFS game is coming to PC,PS2, and GCN. I'll probably look into getting the PC version. In my experience, the games are usually better for PC (better graphics, more features)

...and xbox gets it as well
the GC, PC and XBOX versions will appear after the ps2 version but will all get an extra gameplay mode.

Sorry, I forgot about the Xbox. If I would have remembered, I would have included it. My apologies.

I remember hearing something about the GameCube's extra features, but to be perfectly honest, I have totally forgotten what they are in all my Eternal Darkness/Resident Evil/Tactics Ogre hype.

I dont mind you forgot the xbox. That thing is destined to be forgotten
..but I thought "hey, let's just mention it".

anyways, here's the full press release:
http://www.ea.com/eagames/editorial/press_nfsmulti.jsp

seems the xbox, pc and gc versions will all be a little enhanced over the ps2.
And you have to be honest; the ps2 IS the oldest of the bunch now, so it'll probably be the least good looking version too (but still good).

And to be honest, XBOX version will look the best no doubt.

I sometimes really feel bad about the Xbox.

Actually, most times the GameCube and Xbox versions of multiconsole games look almost identical. Powerwise, the systems are pretty equal.

Woo Hoo! Great news. Now I can finally play Silent Hill 2 without a PS2 emulator. There no longer exists any reason for me to get a PS2. My PC and GameCube now complement eachother 100%. (Until Xenosaga comes out at least)

it's konami of america, what do you expect?

I think they did "the grinch" and "the mummy" games as well...
so they're likely to release their own stuff on pc.

let's just hope they're better at porting the real good japanese konami stuff

Frogger makes sense? PC gamers usually are of the older, more mature set.

Chris Garske should get a clue, as well as a dictionary to see what "savvy" means. That's two whole slots wasted on a kiddie froggie game, dammit!

frogger 2 from hasbro is actually very nice (emphasize on gameplay)...I even doubt konami can top that one.

but actually there's definately a market for children's games on the PC; especially here in holland many families have a pc, and kids, and no console

However, and I think Garske should know what too, Konami's real strength lies in KCEJ and KCET. That's where the good games come from, and those should be ported, as good as possible. Otherwise I see a classic mistake:

For example,
Capcom: "our games arent so popular on pc"
Answer: you know why? because you dont put a single bit of effort in porting them. You deliver crap! No wonder no one wants that ****.

I'm sure that if capcom would actually put some effort in their ports, they could definately become hits; for example THPS3 and GTA3 are VERY popular amongst PC gamers here in Europe, possibly much more than the console versions.
