Any news about SoA sequel?

We won't have any unless SoA sells better on the Cube than it did on the DC. Supposedly, one was in the works, but it looks like that has yet to come to fruition, considering the sequel was being worked on a year and a half ago.

Skies of Arcadia I believe. Since it will be coming out for GameCube by the end of the fiscal year, it should do pretty good. I know that I will be buying a copy.

One more reason for me to buy a gc..i would like to see soa2. soa1 rokced so any squel would be nice.

Skies of Arcadia, on the Gamecube? That settles it; I was really considering purchasing one since the price is only 150 now, but now, I am definitely getting one.

game cube is cheap and more attractive than any consoles, anyway i knew that, i was just asking if the second sof coming out again and not agian.

So far it's just a remake of the first one, but I am sure that there will be a sequel at some point.

They are. Nintendo is dishing out licenses like mad on their trademark characters in order to free up their internal studios to make all new games. Innovation seems key to the GameCube's marketing plan.

Many RPGs are forthcoming, Tales, Skies, and Final Fantasy being the most prominent titles.

The mature market has been reached to the extent of no other console. Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil, Soul Calibur, and the like are in no shortage on the GameCube.

This is just my prediction, but I think that in the next year it is very likely that the GameCube will start to outsell the PS2, and begin the path to catching up.

Doubtful. I would think that there would be plenty of new enhancements and such. It's taking just a little too long to be a straight port.

i wonder what they would add to soa? it was good on the dc i wouldn't have cahnged any except a minor gpu update.

My guess is that they added a lot of voiceovers, for one thing, since that was planned for the Dreamcast version but never done. If that's the case, the GC port could very well be a downgrade, considering Sega's history with dubbing. There have been no screenshots suggesting an improvement in graphics or otherwise, and generally a company would want to point that out in such a situation (like with Tales of Phantasia).
