Sigh, I'm playing Grandia II for PC on a Geforce 2 GTS and sadly, it's running darn slow. sxamiga, i read in one of ur posts that u have a Geforce 4 Ti 4600? (correct me if i'm wrong). Congrats dude, I bet the game's gonna run pretty well for u. For me, even running at 800x600x16 the game runs slow at times especially when there are lotsa characters around. So obviously, FSAA's out of the question. Even 640x480x16 with 4x FSAA runs pretty slow. So hey sxamiga, how bout posting a few shots of Grandia II with 4x FSAA running at 1024x768 or higher or something. I bet it'd look real sweet.

Merovaine, you are correct, I do have a GeForce4 TI 4600. As soon as I install the game, I still haven't had time, I'll be glad to post some screenshot of 4xFSAA at a nice high resoulution. I should have no worries about slowdowns as my processor is an Athlon T-Bird 1.4ghz. Thanks for asking.
sincerely,
sx/amiga

I run it at 1024x768x16 w/ 4xFSAA and it runs fine for the most part. The only parts where it slows down is in towns and only when there's complex buildings and stuff. And yes, it does look pretty sweet

It's up to you, man. If you really liked it, then yes. If it wasn't brilliant for you, then no, unless you see it really cheap.

I just rent Grandia 2 from my local video game store and I have to say that the graphics looked super awesome!!! I didn't experience any slowdown except for those magic effect during battles. Other than that, everything looks fine!!

BTW, I wanna post some screenshots just to let you guys see but I don't know how. Can anybody kind enough to show me the steps? Do I need a program to do that?

Just use the Print Screen button to capture the shots, then paste it into an image program (MS Paint will do) and save it (I believe Paint can save in JPEG).
