hmm

ive got 7,8,9

i used to think 7 was the best, and still kinda do. 8 was cool...if 7 and 9 hadnt been around it lol, they make it look kinda crap imo. 7 is awesome, the story was excellent and the locations and characters were really cool, and Sephiroth, he has to be the coolest character ive come across in FF. But...im slowly starting to think that 9 might be my favourite, im on disc 3 and whats winning me over is the character and also the story is really good, Vivi is a great one for example. Im gonna get 6 in a week or 2 for PS sp hopefuly itll be as good, like u all say it is

what's funny IS, the discussion is supposed to be about FFX. If you don't like the topic, THEN DONT READ the damn thread. Its not like somebody is forcing you to be in IT.

The biggest dissapointment to me was the removal of the world map on FFX. I feel really restricted to where I can explore. Getting the airship isn't fun anymore

I was waiting for the time where I could explore the world , and after some 30 hours of gameplay they showed me the worldmap in the airship . I was like WTF ...

The game is too colorful IMO . They should think about making more "realistic" FF's , like FF7 where there were less buildings colored like rainbow...

well there is and with the new system its really easy to go to where you want to go. But the downside, you don't have the *fun* to go flying around the world anymore..

i havent played LOD but the way it works is you kinda pick where you want to go on the map by the name of the location. there are some secret locations you can find by playing with coordinates but thats about it.

Are you guys kiddin? FFX is awesome. Just play the game thoroughly and try to find some of the ultimate weapons. I'm about 100 hours into the game and I must tell you this is probably one of hte best FF's yet. I like 6 a lot though.

I love the battles in FFX. They can actually be challenging compared to the older ones, like in Chrono Cross. (I don't think i've ever met a weaker final boss).

the colors don't bug me either. I think it brings a change, but it can be a good one.

I can agree about the world map though. THere should have been a more solid world to walk around. The world in FFX is very limited. I think it's awesome that it's in 3D however. The sphere grid is also sooo cool.

Just give the game a chance, try to appreciate what's there.

i guess thats similar to my feeling of Breath of Fire 4 and Wild Arms: boring. they may ave decent story lines, but battles are the anti-fun.

the battling FFX sucked. The was not new. It was amazingly easy becuase you could swap out chars. And the sphere grid was stupid. Don't let the hype get to you about the FF series
