wild arms 2 took a lot of RPG-love out of me. that game was way too tedious. and, later i played through BoF4. man! those battles are monotonous! yet so fun... ZzZZzzZZz...

I also love BOF4, but I want to ask you all who have played this game? Did you ever catch a whale?

Xenogears! Always the first to be mentioned by me. Also the FF series are really cool. I also enjoyed LOD a lot, and SO2. But many games mentioned by others are cool as well. For me, I qould have to say that Xenogears is my preference.

hmm... i wonder if your avatar, name, and signature have anything to do with it... nah it must be a coincidence but yeah, xenogears is a good game, but i think i still prefer computer gaming over console gaming

I know what you mean. Especially when it comes to First Person Shooters. THey s*ck on consoles. Except for Perfect Dark and Goldeneye for the N64

Cheers All
Wow! A Dungeon Master fan! I don't think there are any DM like games for the PS. You'd have better luck looking for DM clones for PC or Amiga.

the great thing about computers is that every game for every console can be played on the pc and it can be made better

well, maybe not every game right now can be properly played, but if they wanted to they could make any ps2 game into a computer game... and the reason why xbox is closest to a pc is because it was made by microsoft, so theres no big surprise there really

Number of RPG's I finished: 1: SD Snatcher, RPG version of Snatcher, and not your traditional RPG at all.
And I played halfway through Chrono Trigger. =P
