Saying FFT sucks is like saying the Atlantic Ocean has no water in it. It's just plain wrong!!!!!

thats one thing about FFT, is that it actually offers challenge! (if you don't level up too far ahead of the missions)

Battery power. Pure and simple. That's why it last decades longer than the gear.

i wonder how come sony hasn't tried making a handheld... but then again, it would be pretty hard to compete with GB. so... i guess we should be expecting MS to try? stupid MS...

Golden Sun is a flawless masterpiece, FFT is TRASH !
I would agree if Golden Sun was replaced with a game of greater value. FFT's story is better and the battle effects range from "as good as" to "much better".

I would like to see what they do with the fmv's. :P Will they become still art with text scrolling over them or maybe the scenes will be acted out like so much of it is in the battlefield settings?

What's in FMV in FFT apart from the intro? I can't remember anything.

Yeah, I'm lost too. For FMV in Final Fantasy Tactics, there were two clips at the beginning, and one at the end. I don't really see a need for them.

There was some tricky stuff going on in the game, such as 3D battlegrounds, and a bit of FMV, buit I think that most of the 516MB of space it is taking up on my hardrive is just bloatware. PSX developers were allowed to be really lazy, an didn't really bother with saving much space. In comparison, I have Tactics Ogre (PSX) sitting on my harddrive as well. It takes up a whopping 77MB. Not too bad, but since it was a SNES port to begin with, I would think that they might have added a little junk to it.

I really see no reason why the GBA couldn't run FFT perfectly. Of course the FMV would be mostly dropped, ala Silent Hill GBA, but I think that there would be room enough for everything else, and I don't think the 3D battlegrounds would be that much problem.

I actually bought a GBA as soon as I heard that Square was back. Since Tactics Ogre comes out next month, I am a happy man indeed.
