^The first Dino Crisis was great IMO anyway it did a better job as a survival then Resident evil that's for sure. PS: even though the second one was more action orientated or actually an action cinematic game i loved that to.

There your wrong it has quite a large story and good plot but for that reading the files is also required. Quote:
Indeed as far as survival horror's go DC1 was the best imo (second only by Alone in the Dark 4) and even though the gameplay was very similar to RE the huge difference between the two was that you couldn't just shoot your way through like in RE games. That's not quite right RE turned in to a 3rd person action (and i admit with some shooter elements) from RE 4. Till RE 2 it was a cinematic Survival Horror, from RE 3 it became more of a cinematic action game but it still had many of the elements that made the game RE it was just not that horrifying (i would even dare to say it had a more arcadish feel due to all of the unlockables), exception from this are Gun Survivor series and Dead Aim of course witch was more of a combination between first person action with some cinematic elements and a rail shooter.
