I ran Crysis Warhead on 1280x1024 with shadows, physics and texture(? maybe it was something else, can't remember correctly) quality on Enthusiast and everything else on Gamer. No AA of course, and although I didn't check the FPS rate using Fraps, I estimate it to be hovering around the 30 mark for the most part, which is perfectly okay with me. There are some wild changes at times though, like out of the blue the rate drops to like 8fps or something for a few seconds, but that doesn't really happen very often. Haven't tried Crysis on this GPU, but I think it'd be pretty similar to this.

It might be hardware specific, cuz many people say Warhead is better optimized then the original one and runs better. Regardless of that, I think all this Crysis banter is going a bit too overboard. I mean this game has become the symbol of PC gaming at its worst in most people's eyes. Sure if you want 8x AA you'll need some serious hardware, and the graphics aren't much to brag about either, but it's an awesome game despite that, its gameplay and story-line trumps most other FPS games. Plus if you stop being a total graphics whore and accept absence of AA, then it really isn't that bad TBH.

I liked the crysis: warhead more... First, psycho actually had personality unlike the-yes-man-uber-marine-nomad. "I'm british, you muppet!" And the actual game and story were better in my mind... For example I hate the f*****g "mothership" fight at the end of the original. But I actually liked the "end boss" battle in warhead. If I had to rate them it'd be: Crysis - 7/10 Crysis: Warhead - 8/10

The mother-ship fight was much more thrilling then the exosuit one in Warhead IMO. In Warhead there were a limited number of smaller alien creatures so after eliminating them, it became VERY easy to eliminate the exosuit, but it did take A LOT of time though. 1) Get close 2) Shoot with your plasma cannon as many times as possible 3) Take cover behind the containers/walls when the creature comes after you 4) Wait for creature to retreat back 5) Repeat 1-3 50 times (literally!). The magazine was probably referring to the final level, which almost made me break my 3rd PS3 controller :X

Fable 2: 0/10 Awful story, no matter if you're an evil or good character the quests are basically the same. The graphics aren't much better than Fable 1 on Xbox. Gets extremely repetitive. The worst thing: THERE IS NO GOD DAMN WAY TO LOSE! You can get knocked out... but that's it.

Sounds alot like Failure of Persia 2008. You just cant ****ing die. Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny 7.5/10 - Still a solid game with incredible graphics and still just as fun. But there is so little single player content and i dont know why. There is enough space left to put more modes and content =\ Fate/Unlimited Codes 7/10 - Too damn easy. Fighting is fun but pulling out badass combos is a joke. Enviroments are bland and i still think Fate characters are bland, boring and stupid (except for rider).

To stay on topic: last game finished would be Gears of War i think, good game imho (single player rating) 8.5/10. +good graphics. +nice story and i like how your left in the dark with several elements. +very good in the sound department. +nice gameplay - a little buggy but not near as bad as compared with other games. - story maybe leaves to many blank spots.

Well, I don't know if its due to some influence in here but I went and got Pokemon game for GBA, Pokemon Emerald... And I think it's...not that horrible actually... Yes, I said it! Happy!?! As an rpg fan I can clearly see why people say the games rock, growing those annoying critters and battling them is sort of fun, I just hope they didn't all look like stuffed toys for 5 year olds... Can't really give out a score yet but at the moment I'd say: 7/10.

I tried Terminator Salvation yesterday. It was a gift from a friend. I'm never interested in buying games from movies. Man it doesn't even let me configure the texture detail, antialiasing, AF, vsync. Nothing. In the options you can only change resolution. What a crap. I will try nhancer and the nvidia profiler to see If I can get it to look better.
