Actually for me the story was what got me in that game and what made me finished it. And there is something to do besides the story the problem is that its boring as hell if you follow the side missions .

For me it was...uhm...I just wanted to finish the game.
I wouldn't go that far and call them "side missions". They are just gimmicks and repetitive too.

Agreed. City was so lifeless too. But i think the game has a lot of potential. A sequel with a bigger budget and more talented team would do justice.

Just finished Brutal Legend - 8/10

Such a well rounded game. It had a little bit of everything in it.

Were it not for a strange bug that appeared with Blacklist rival #1 which caused the game to close to desktop after every 10-15 minutes, I'd have completed it. Well I re-installed Windows and upgraded my PC a few months later and the bug was gone, but I'd lost touch with the game completely and failed epically in the races and couldn't be bothered to rebuild my skills from the ground-up.

It was one of the best racing games I've played though.

All games are Wii ones. Sega Superstars Tennis - 6/10: controls are kinda awkward, sound is stale, but anything else is just like in X360 and PS3 versions

Guitar Hero: Van Halen - 9/10: PANAMA!! PANAMA-OH! Hard as usually tho, the only disadvantage. Was lucky to get early version of that game

A Boy and His Blob - 6/10: gets kinda boring after playing for some time, graphics are awesome tho

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games - 10/10: A LOT better than previous game, I like it

It definitely has potential. But to make it worth the money they need to improve the singleplayer part a lot(maybe GTA style) or integrate some nice multiplayer action.

The developers always talk too much, they should just do their work ^^

Ok, under normal circumstances it's the publisher who keeps talking bs. They always try to call the donkey a horse but in the end it's still the donkey.

just killed the last boss in torchlight playing as a destroyer(melee fighter), fun diablo-like game.

doesn't seem like there's too much too do afterwards, though there is a neverending dungeon, will probably start over as an alchemist(mage).

i'm giving it a 8/10

now waiting for the editor, and hopefully some really cool mods.
depending on mods i might give it a higher rating.

Just finished Last Remnant.
I think I almost got screwed at the end due to the flawed leveling system, but I managed to do it. Barely.

Good game overall. It had the potential to be an addictive game like FF12, but things were too slow and too flawed for it to be worth spending countless hours on: 6.5/10

I just 100 % completed Magna Carta 2, got 1240 points.

I had fun with this game mostly with the battle system only problem I had with the game is once you hit level 70 you can't get more than 240 exp points.
I wish the game was longer on my 2nd run I beat the game in 27 hours and I didn't even rush. The game uses Unreal Engine 3 and it has a nice flaw when you install the game to hdd....you get super delayed texture popin on some textures, its fine playing on the disc. Other than a few flaws and a short gameplay its not a bad game at all. 8.5/10

not to sell it on ebay at full price to some sucker, barely got the game 3 weeks ago.

I can finally fully concentrate on Tekken 6 next

Tekken 6 (PS3) 10/10
Awesome fighting game now on the home console! Tekken fans should not dare to miss this game.

Persona3 Portable (PSP) 9/10
So far I'm enjoying the new features they added along with the updated battle system. If the UMD had more space, I wish they could of kept the anime scenes as well as The Answer.

Just finished Dawn of Mana (PS2) playing in tandem with my brother. I'd give it a 7/10 score. The whole game isn't bad at all, but there are some things that can get on your nerve sometimes. Example like when you have to jump to a higher platform, and your head bump into something and then you suddenly change direction. This is alright at first, but when you meet a multiple platform, falling down to the very beginning after a series of meticulous jumping isn't very fun.

The environment of Dawn of Mana is just beautiful, as it is colorful. The story is also quite good, though there's nothing overly complicated about it. Gameplay is a love-it-or-hate-it kind of thing, because basically you start at base stats for each level or stage, unless you equip certain medals/ emblems.
What really made me score it 7/10 instead of 8/10 is purely subjective. The ending.
Spoiler:
Why is it in the latest installments of Mana games the girl has to be sacrificed for the sake of saving the world? Especially in this game, the ending made me really sad . Though my brother likes it very much. But still, I hate sad ending

g-darius, and raystorm. 9/10 and 8/10. both awesome traditional (somewhat) arcade shooters.. i just started messing with the zinc emulator the other day. its pretty sweet (with the right frontend). my eyes are burning from the bright colors in both of these games.

This could be my next ebay command. What do you mean by "too flawed" and "too slow"?

Too slow in the sense that a lot of the late game mechanics of getting items to drop depend on a rare spawn with a rare drop. While this may sound like a logical way of doing things, all it really creates is a situation where you're finally spawning the monster (which sometimes takes hours, since it's random) saving, killing, and then reloading to try again if he didn't drop the item. This is only a factor if you like get the best stuff and finish tasks in games.

As for the flaws: Rate the Last Game you Played or Currently Playing
