I think the biggest problem with screwed up sequels occurs with the Medal of Honor series.

The game sucks (tried Airborne, got bored and quit half-way through), and so does its sequels' ordering.

Seriously though, they've (all FPS producers) GOT TO quit it with the WW1 and WW2 type games, there have just been TOO many of them to not make it any more fun anymore. Plus all the guns are super out-dated, crappy aiming, crappy range, and no laser sights
