The Last Remnant(so far, so good)

In terms of gameplay and graphics I liked this game, but the story is a huge mess. Could be two things.. Or the game was very bad translated or they didn't really cared about a story at all. Anyway, I had fun playing this game. I became quite addicted in gathering items for weapon improvement, chasing rare monsters, opening up special quests, etc. I surely spended more than 100 hours on this one.

45 hours so far and going strong. I like the battle and skill gaining system(a mix of FF2 and FF8 with some added elements? I'm in!). The union system is very well done too.

But yeah, the story is kinda lacking. Even more so than that of the Tactics Advance games, and THOSE are lousy. But hey, the point is to have fun. That is what mostly makes a game good. And I'm having quite a bit of that.

Hah!!! I can see you know your deal my man. It's exactly like Final Fantasy 2, indeed. When I started to get used to the game it became very clear to me that it's leveling system was based on Final Fantasy 2, where the more you use a specific skill, the stronger it gets. Very well observed.

And you're right again, the point is to have fun. Screw the stories. When I want a good story I simply grab a book.

BTW, Squall, you are a NES freak !!!! That's what I'd call a huge list.... But aren't you playing any game starting with the Z letter ??
