I do like Niko, the way he sprouts "I'm a guest in your country" after he shoots down a whole bunch of police officers and innocent bystanders just gives you the feeling that he is something special.

Tommy Vercetti, he had a very anti-hero way about him. He wasn't trying to save anyone's ass but his own and had a very cool vibe.

Niko, well... Niko was a cool character and would've been my second choice. He just wanted a good life for himself. His actions didn't reflect this as much but hey, he had to do what he had to do; jackasses included. He was just a good person; probably the only good person in a GTA game.
