Total Annihilation: Kingdoms computer AI

I've been playing this awesome strategy game for a while, and I've noticed that the computer components (both in the campaign and the skirmish) are retards.

Anyone have an idea if there's anything I can do to up the AI?

As it is now, I must have 3 computer opponents against me to make it slightly challenging..
It's a really old game, and from what I've read from reviews and such, TAK isn't very popular, so I really don't expect it to be played online, being almost 10 years old and all.

Id recomend just getting the original TA and geting the Warzone client so you can play online(yes last time i checked some people still play it there) but here is some custom ai i havent used it myself but from what i can see it should work. Aight, I've had the chance to test it a few times now, and it's a bit better.

Not by much though, as they mass tier 1 buildings (enclave, cabal, barracks, smithy) and then continue to pump out 5 million low level melee units. And they constantly pump them out too.
They aren't very good with building loadstones either... In a 1v1 match I had (Veruna v. Veruna) they continued to try and build loadstones on 2 sites that I had covered with Mortars And 2 sites of theirs didn't have loadstones on them either...
After a while, I had 6 Bastions with a gold shield, then I decided to mass Berserkers and wipe them out..

But yeah, I'll try the original game a bit and see if that's any good.

I would also recomend using the warzone client, there is usaly someone on to play the original ta not so sure about kingdoms, but its worth a look. And i never realy had a chance to test the ai mentioned that was just from a google search you probably will be able to find better if you look for them yourself.
