PS2 game reccomendation topic.

Second time I made this topic but this time I'm actually looking for the more underrated games. So no FF, KH, ZoE, MGS etc.

Side note: ICO amd SotC are still amazing.

psychonauts, on any system of course.

personally i think that xenosaga is fairly underrated, as trilogy anyway.

the two "way of the samurai" games are brilliant too, even though i think they are rather unknown.

beyond that, disaster report isnt a great "game" per se, but very very unique and has a few moments i havent experienced anywhere else.

and im not sure if you could say they are mainstream already, but of course nothing will lead around the katamari games.

Not sure if they are well known or not but the SSX games are fun.

Mmm... Darkwatch hits my head. And you should try Virtua Quest.

And Jade Cocoon 2, too. Jade Cocoon was awesome.

It depends on what you like. I would recommend Ace Combat 5 and Ace Combat Zero if you like combat flight sims, DBZ Budokai 3, Tekken 5 and Mortal Kombat Armageddon if you like fighters, Final Fantasy X and Star Ocean III if you like long lasting RPG's, and if you like RTS games on the PC, then take Age of Empires for the PS2 a spin. Plays just the same ^^

but as i said: it all depends on what YOU like.

Tales of the Abyss, Odin Sphere, Persona 3 FES, Musashi Samurai Legend are some pretty good games you should try.

Late response.. internet went down due to some difficulty in Toronto or something.

Anyway.. Already played most of those games, beat the all too. Psychonaughts was too good of a game. I don't remember putting the controller down while playing that one.

I still need to finish Odin Sphere, find Persona 3: Fes as well as Xenosaga. I can't even find Xenosaga anywhere but I'll keep looking/getting someone else who lives in the city to look for me.

Dark Watch ended way too early.

Well thanks for the recommendations. I'll keep getting someone to look as well.

Side note: Possible no more D.R.E's. Got a new PS2 and testing it out now. The thing has some sort of battery on the side of the reader. Don't know if its old or not but I'll look it up tomorrow.
