I was actually underhandedly mocking the situation when I wrote that. There is no perfect solution for the overheating problem if you have an earlier revision of the console.

But i had no idea about the cooling attachment actually contributing to the RROD's. Thanks for pointing that out. I don't want good old Tacosumas to fry his xbox.

In fact there is/was an attachment that was directly plugged in between the power cord and the 360 and was causing errors as it was drawing energy so the360 received less energy than it should.
