Problems Regarding Devil May Cry 3

Guys I have two questions,

1st:
Is DMC 3 compatible with Vista?

2nd:
Is DMC 3 also compatible with internal video card? I mean can this game be run in a built-in video card?

My PC Spec is this:
Processor: Inter (R) Premium (R) Dual CPU 2 GHz
Ram: 2 gig
Video Card: Intel (R) GMA 3100 286 mb

Hope you can help me guys...

1.Yes. Be sure to download the last patch.
2.Yes. A friend tested the game on a 3100 and it worked. It should work for you.

Uninstall then reinstall the game again. The monitor shouldn't affect anything about the game.

Monitor is only a factor if it's not recognised...so if other games work fine then this is no issue.

By the way something I remember from my Oblivion playing days where people had problems with it and Vista, is that you should not install games into Program Files, rather make a new folder on your HDD and called it Games or something and install into there.

go into the problem histroy viewer in the control panel (its in the system and maintenance section) and see if it lists any kind of reason for the crash or files that caused it to do that by right clicking the entry and selecting "view problem details".

Hum...Sorry,I made an error. The vista version patch is the 1.3.0. You'll find it there. Also be sure to have the latest DirectX runtimes and all your drivers up to date.

Wait for your "real" graphic card to come.

Interesting. I was running DMC3 on Vista and had no problems. I don't remember even running that 1.3.0 patch. Have you upgraded your graphics card's drivers?

Get all the latest drivers and keep your directX updated.

Guys, how will I know if I am downloading the right driver for updates?
Sorry if I am asking these newbie questions... it's obvious.

I tried to get the updates for my drivers there(computer management) and says that all of my drivers are up to date...

What Motherboard do you have? Do you have the 64bit or 32bit version of Vista?

Go to intel website
search for your motherboard model and they would have provided the drivers for it.
If you are not sure of the model no. then check the box in which the board came.
