Anyone up for a quick game of TF2?

If anyone is interested let me know Asap in this thread, I'm using my colleges wireless connection, so I'll be able to play a game of TF2 without latency problems.

The catch is you need to be quick in replying to this thread in order to get in the game because I'll be leaving the college in another half an hour and heading home back to my crappy satellite connection with high latency issues.

:Edit: Need to leave the college now, I will be back at the college again on Friday

Get Synergy (Half Life 2 mod). That **** is fun. I kind of lost my interest for TF2.

/me has 4-day weekend, so I'll be sitting at my computer for about 79 hours.

Hey since your latency limited why not play a turn base game such as heroes of might and magic 5. Both me and Gladiator have it. It has simultaneous for a portion of the multiplayer play so its some somewhat more tolerable.

Well TCOS posted in this thread and when i scrolled down and saw your post, since you were using TheCloudofSmokes signature picture at the time i initially assumed i was responding to him + i thought this thread was in the bin since thats where Xtreme has made past requests for online gaming. So said some stuff about him using the 79hr period for 'some 'personal alone time', and needing to wear gloves to ensure his hands don't get sore from friction.

Well it seems I won't be able to get to the college until Wednesday of next week. I'll be there from 10AM to 4PM EST, so when I get there I'll just instant message someone. Just put my headphones on in the college cafeteria and I'm good to go.

Good thing you edited it then. Move along.

TCOS quit because he sucked. He stood (literally) around spamming grenades.

Problem is its harder to see stuff like grenades since he's playing at nonnative 640x480 with a cheap twisted neumatic laptop lcd screen. Probably at only at 15-20fps ontop of that.

Then he also likes to play drunk which slows down his reaction time, mouse eye coordination and alertness.

On TF2 I can max the settings out minus AA and AF with my new laptop and maintain 30 FPS.

This laptop with a Radeon 3200 HD is so much better than my desktop PC with a Geforce 6150LE.

Too bad that ATI/Radeon has problems with the OGL plugin in Dolphin.

I quit because the game sucks. Play against me in HL2M and say the same thing. All you do is stand idle and micwhore and burping while farting and insulting others.

Team fortress 2 which is bundled with halflife 2 in the orange box. Almost every bin regular owns it.

Even supreme mighty jonc. But he has been continuously defeated by a tiny little 5kilobyte dll file and has yet to figure out a way how to beat it.

"Team fortress 2 which is bundled with halflife 2 in the orange box", what is orange box? I have half life 2 (its graphics makes me sick as in I feel like to puke, so I could not finish more than 2 stages) but I don't have team fortress 2.

The Orange Box - 5 Games. One Box.

You can also buy Team Fortress 2 by itself. http://www.teamfortress.com/

The motion sickness may be because your aspect ratio is off and your field of vision settings are incorrect. Having them at wrong settings will confuse the mind, fooling the mind into thinking you are sick. that can be part of the reason why some 1st person shooter games make you feel sick while others do not.

I don't know but ever since I got that game I have only played it twice and I feel sick even if I see anyone playing it. And what do you mean by motion sickness. This is so far the only game with which I have had this problem, none of my friends feel sick and they say that I am making it up just because I am a bad player when it comes to shooting games.
