Can't run devil may cry 3

My gfx card has gone for repairs.Till then i have to bare with Intel 82945G 128mb. I installed the game today and it doesn't work. The "Send-Don't Send Error report" appears. I think my gfx card supports pixel shader 2.

Update your directx.
If that doesn't work then it doesn't support pixel shader.

and I dont think that DMC3 will run fast on onboard graphics.
It used to lag on my geforce6600
and how did you manage to damage your card
And since you are using integrated graphics maybe just maybe you are using old drivers too. update your drivers.

It won't run at all. DMC3 need a solid card supporting pixels shaders 2.0 correctly and with solid drivers in order to run. The Intel 945 does not match theses specifications. Intel who doesn't care about drivers or Crappy PC port? Go figure...

It supports Vertex shaders in hardware, and does pixel shaders in software.... that or its in reverse.



However it doesn't support TnL....

Windows like treating it's users like idiot and instead of telling them what went wrong just tells them : Oops something went wrong (want us to fix it because you are too useless to do so?) .... every game which does not run due to lack of requirements tends to crash with that message...

Umm... you dont need pixel shader 2.0 for DMC also redlofredlof if you said you had problems on a 6600 with the game you may had a problem with drivers or sofdtware or the videoboard itself cause it played good on an 5200 and i had full detail on an ATI 9600 XT

It lagged in some parts after I installed the gamepad fix for the game and then the graphics were not good and the character could move only diagonally forward. And 6600 has pixel shader 3.

So, in this case, I don't understand why the game, when the options "skip pixels shaders 2.0" or "use pixel shaders 1.4" in 3Danalyzer refuse to start on a geforce FX5200...

I'm guessing that it should run. Have you updated the drivers?
Oh and one more thing, DMC3 may not be compatible with Vista so that is why it may not be working.

Yes those r the latest drivers. And I tried running it on both Xp and Vista, but no success.
