This just show´s how bad the PS3 status is atm... as we all know Tekken series were born with the Playstation and till now was one of the biggest "Playstation" exclusives. it seems like they´ve recognized how much they could lose to go "Playstation" exclusive this time. FFXIII and now Tekken 6??? only one exclusive left........... MGS4 and the PS3 is dead

Or it just shows the direction the market has headed for with game budgets becoming bigger and bigger and games hitting mainstream, rather than filling a niche market. The PS3 is doing better in Europe than the 360, also in Japan. It's a simple case of maximizing profits and why should a company stay exclusive if they want to make more money? And why would Sony drop another huge bag of money when their console is gaining on the 360 as well? And it's not like Tekken's that unique in a market where you have Virtua Fighter, Dead or Alive and even their own Soul Calibur competing with each other. Fighting games aren't the primary console game anymore, unlike the Dreamcast age, where Soul Calibur was a system seller, as was the new Tekken. With the new people playing games I think the old arcade games are going down in popularity, people expect more.

Namco realize that they can maximize profit by going multi-platform and with the 360's sales getting better and better in European and Japanese markets it makes sense to expand the franchise to more consoles. However I would probably still get this game for the PS3 mainly for the control aspect as I have found that 360 fighting games aren't the most comfortable and responsive.

Rather rare nowadays, but it's virtually unbreakable and very comfortable. Playing with it may seem awkward at the beginning but once you get there, you won't look back at gamepads, trust me. |

You make a very good point, when my studies are over and I will have some free time I am planning on making a dinky dime arcade cabinet and then I would love to have a good bash at some ace fighting games with an arcade stick. I have also seen some guides in magazines and what not about how to make your own arcade stick. Maybe I'll give that a shot too.
