This is an exciting racing game that seriously delivers on its promise of high-speed, high-adrenaline action.

Although it’s a blast to play, it’s not the deepest game out there, and we found ourselves wishing for just a few more modes, tracks and options to round out the experience. But overall, Pure is just pure fun, and that’s what it’s all about.

I'm hooked to it. It looks great, it plays great, and since I've never played SSX3 or anything similar, its a totally new experience for me.

Comments?

"What the hell is Pure?" Is what went through my mind after skimming through your post. For those more lazy than me:

The game looks great, from the looks of things it's quite similar to Motostorm which I liked very much. I do not like normal racers (GT, Forza, PGR, etc.) but hell I am a lot into Wipeout, Motostorm, SSX and maybe Pure now

Dammit, they removed the video! Why? Because someone might like the game and buy it?

Hmm sounds like it might be worth looking into...although I doubt it will provide the same simple fun as SSX.
For now it looks...and sounds...like a Trackmania Offroad edition...but trying to be serious about it and not wacky like Trackmania.

Its an incredible game. So far throughout my entire addiction with technology, the only game that I ever genuinely got hooked onto was FlatOut2. The sheer fun that game provides me with is unmatched.

I think Pure is going to be much like FlatOut... While it shouldn't be so much fun, it just is. It defies logic with exhilaration. Awesome. Brilliant. Exciting... All a guy could ask for.

FIX FOR LOADING TIMES:

Disable V-Sync. The game has a fixed amount of frames to play before it moves onto the next screen, so by disabling V-Sync you increase the number of frames that are processed per second.

Since there's no setting in game, I did this using RivaTuner. Its under 'Direct Draw and Direct 3D' settings.
EDIT: For some reason, the characters don't load when VSync is disabled. Am looking into it as we speak.
