You peoples seem to forget what an rpg is. Your expecting 5 hours of voice overs but in reality an rpg doesn't even need a storyline to be an rpg.
A video game is meant to be played, not watched.

You are right but it is also meant to be enjoyed. And I wasn't expecting voice overs, however, I would have appreciated more character depth for a title that holds final fantasy in this generation.

Being able to connect with a game or whatever is a big plus. And for me if I can't do that then well that's a minus in a particular area (I should add this mostly applies to rpgs). Also there were some bosses that you just had connect Quicknings or else your screwed. I leveled up a lot but that didn't help as much compared to other games.

In it's own right I admire that it tried something new, and cinematics were great, but gameplay wise I didn't feel any excitement in battles. When I defeated a tough boss It was more off, thank God now I can move forward, than YEAH! The reason I kept on?

Honestly speaking, I wanted to see if the Nu Mou from FFTA were still alive, and it didn't help that my friend told me they were before I reached them.

Yes but a story doesn't make an rpg. I BARELY consider FFX an rpg....I only do so because everyone thinks it is. But FFX was pretty much on rails. No world exploration, no side quests, no nothing. Follow this rail, do not deviate. I would classify it as an fantasy adventure game before I classified it as an rpg.

No side quest.........? 0_o Are you high? My tidus doesn't hit 99k per blitz ace slash for nothing. There about 30 optional bosses.

I could make a game with stats and make the main character a cat. When I control the cat in game it would be considered role playing.

Quickening are supposed to be used as a last resort unless you can do them extremely well. Go fight cid gunz blazing with quickenings and watch how he rapes you blind. If the game were 20 hours of gameplay like the rest of the series then I know you wouldn't be complaining .

indeed Xblade, even the collection of the super weapons was a side quest.

btw, my Tidus hits over 400,000k per blitz ace, so you must not have your levels that high :\ (remember, he strikes with his sword multiple times before finishing with the blitz ace, and each strike counts as a hit.)

I meant per slash . I have his attack, defense, and magic defense maxed out(almost done with agility) and he has 28k health*I have 30 percent health thingy in his armor.(sphere grid complete filling some holes now). I killed neslug before he got to attack with a combination of tidus efing him over with blitz ace and entrust with yuna and auron(aurons a lump of ****, good for human shield only) I only have 4 weapons maxed out though. No one in hell can make me dodge 200 bolts of lightning, EVER.

My pre Crisis FFX save had tidus maxed out, and hp at about 42,000
Everyones weapons (even Lulu's... damn lightening ....grrr) The legendary armour's (i used an item guide to help create them), and my Anima would lay the smack down on over 150,000 each strike.
How ever.... my PS2 reached crisis point(Crisis being my chipped PS2 liked corrupting my entire memory card.) and i lost all my saves. after that i started backing up my saves with the max media memory card manager.... but it doesn't work on my new unchipped ps2, since i dumped it to hdd and updated it with the latest datel code list, and can no longer find the original disk >.<)

So when it did i just downloaded a save off the web, which was maxed out with all sorts of spheres, so i replaced everyones HP200 spheres with HP300 and it topped off at just over 57,000, equipping an item with double hp sends it straight to 99,999HP.

max damage per hit in X is 99k >_> no such thing as double hp o.0.
When you say legendary armor do you mean with certain abilities? o.0
I have one for yuna with auto shell, auto protect, auto phoenix, and break hp limit.
I have a replica of yunas ultimate weapon with the double ap traded in for 30% magic attack+.
When you have to fight your Aeons the weapon keeps dissapearing from her hand during summoning.

EDIT: Now that I think of it the armors get different names after certain abilities are added. Like tidus's Genji Shield.(thats what mine says X_X)

Tidus's becomes Endless Road when Break HP and Break MP are added to an armour.

Thats why....you realize break mp is utterly useless right? 0.o.
Double hp can't be added on as an item ability. Its pretty useless in battle if you have max attack and normal hp at 25k+.
I used it to solo shinryu when my tidus was still kind of weak though.
EDIT: I think my yunas weapon has on 20% magic.

Dude I'm playing FF8 now and I've noticed something.....when you have selphie in your party, after every 5 or 6 consecutive battles the camera aims under her skirt and shows her white panties during the victory pose!!!
