Square Enix: 360 FFXIII development hasn't begun

Director Motomu Toriyama and Tetsuya Nomura reveal they're focused the PS3 edition of the anticipated role-playing game--and haven't yet received dev kits from Microsoft.

anyone else here who was disappointed with x-2 and 12? went through final fantasy 6,7,8,9,10,x-2,12,chronicles, tactics advance and have to say that those two are the worst final fantasy parts i have ever played. ffx-2´s battle system was simply a fail system. the "super costums" or whatever they were called were like a "iwinbutton". also i didnt like the story . final fantasy x2 (in my opinion) should/could have rather been about tidus ; the place he is after final fantasy x and maybe the journey he does to get back to yuna and the others or something like that. and i really dont want to say too much about ff12 except this: do they even need some points to take a s*** or only to wear freaking clothes? i am really starting to think that final fantasy has jumped the shark ; atleast with its main series. the second chrystal chronicles (not my life as a king) which should come out in japan end of the year seems to be quite an upgrade from the first part and also shows great graphic even though its on the wii(not talking bad about the wii ;just about the fact that the wii´s graphics arent the best). well we can still hope that some day there will be remakes of final fantasy 7 and 8 (not hoping on the other once since they are already being remaked for ds).

The battle system in FX-2 was good. The story not so much. XII was goodjust some people didn't like it. If you wan to talk about things jumping the shark then go bug Sonic.

I agree that X-2 had a nice battle system. However XII was,... well pointless in my opinion
I mean did penelo have more than 20 lines of script. Major character depth flaw and thats just one of the shortcomings.
