Aww you can't go hating on a classic just because out-of-battle cloud consist of like 10 polygons and the story is paper thin (not to mention un-explained, wtf was sephiroth trying to do....go to disney land?).

...What the hell? He never said anything about the graphics or the story.

(And I thought Sephirot story was kinda clear... The promised land was a land perfect, filled with life, untouched by anyone, and especially not dying because it was being depleted by power-hungry corporations . And that promised land was potentially a different planet, based on hints given in the game, but that one was left as a blur on purpose to let people imagine it the way they want, and because they wouldn't need Ancient blood if anyone could just GUESS what/where the promised land is .)

heh. he hit the nail right on the head with the paper-thin story but there's also the fact that cloud is a *****. he wants to be zack but ends up getting over 9000 points of fail in trying. But Sephiroth is just as badly done as a character in FF7 - i will concede that in CC he actually has some integrity as a character but in FF7 here's all he is:

Yeah, the story is strange, mainly since it seems that the game didn't have enough time to expose everything, some parts weren't shown, ect. Seems like some interesting stuff was cut off (possibly because they wanted to release the game before it started to look too dated for the console? No idea at all, but it does seem like the game may have been rushed in some parts.) The worse part I think comes from some things being shown, but not explained properly in the game (who were later explained more clearly outside). So the explanations/story needed is right in your face, but may not be properly understood because of them not really telling you CLEARLY what's happening.

Nyway, I could explain most of it (or what I understood) but it would be boring for everyone .

The story was all right. The directors and writers probably wanted the players to think about the story themselves, with their own imagination mixed with theirs. Although some points of the story were just bleh, most of it was all right and had good flow.

first of all, the graphics were breakthrough at the time for an ff game with the 3d battles and polygonal dungeons. The story was emotional and very deep, causing numerous spinoffs and a movie. Anyway, crisis core is probably the best action/rpg for the psp so far so it doesnt matter if youve played the game, the action is awesome
