Yeah, I know. I tried it. Still gives me game version error.

who cares D2 > all :P

I have A LOT of rares to give away but I dont ever see anyone on. I wish we had are own forum for it. Would be nice. I feel silly posting stuff here about D2 heh.

Well I'm using the older version starcraft I believe is compatable with the pcsx2 bnet server, but I get this error message.

I guess I'll have to try and configure my router.

I can log onto the bnet chat but I can't play games.

Diablo 2 works perfectly for me though. I was playing for about 5 minutes the other day with Jenova266.

Starcraft is fine on there with Broodwar 1.15.2
Diablo 1 should work in that case as well, though server side storage of characters may not.

We've already solved some of the new problems. First, the offset in
war3.exe of the string "Game.dll" was changed in 1.22, breaking the
ability of w3l.exe to hook GameMain. We already found the new offset
and it is included in the attached C source code. It looks like there
is some kind of new memory protection in place as well, which prevents
writes to the memory region containing "Game.dll", even if the process
is started suspended. war3.exe can be patched by hex editing, but
then we run into more problems when w3lh tries to patch game.dll.
Note how my replacement C source still works with 1.21 and below.

I think that some configuration must be done to the server so that the latest version of all games work.

You are using pvpgn, right? Are you using the latest support files (v1.2) and versioncheck.conf ?

im using the latest everything. the pvpgn is actually a dev build from the svn, which is newer than the last release.

Also using the latest d2gs

It could be the way its configed reffy. Im ingame right now on diablo 2.

You mean you don't have a cd key? This could be a problem

But you don't need the cinematics disc, you need only to make a multiplayer install (install everything expect the cinematics)

Didn't know a multiplayer install didn't require that particular disc.

I suppose you could make a passworded game on battle.net and get the equivalent of single player; after all, I already know the plot..

Yeah, I need to keep looking for my Battle Chest box, or just buy the game again. (for the third time)

you didn't google it did you? lol. a lot of the installation guides for pvpgn say that only the diablo games require additional files on the server for serverside character saving.

Starcraft works nicely.

The Acid Loader for WC3 is coming along, they have bypassed the memory protection, and are now working on supporting the changes made to the subroutines.
It has also been rewritten in C
