Question about the Taito Type X2

Specs:

CPU: selectable from the following--LGA775 Intel Core2 Duo / Pentium 4 / Celeron D

Chipset: Intel Q965+ICH8 Chipset

Memory: DDR2-667MHz 512MB/1GB (Compatible up to DDR2-800MHz 4GB)

Graphic Board: PCI-Express x 16, selectable from the following: ATI Radeon X1950Pro/X1600Pro/X1300LE, Nvidia GeForce 7900GS/7600GS/7300GS

Sound: On-board AD1988A HD Audio 5.1ch

BIOS: SPI Flash BIOS

Other then the security measures employed by the developer, what would prevent someone from taking the hard drive that the game is on, and getting it to run on their machine? I ask because, the specs are that of a mid-range machine, and I'm a little curious.

How about you post in the correct section of whichever emulator you are intending to use?

Well if I remember correctly, back in the days of MS-DOS, when a game is loaded. In order for a device to work (Such as mouse, or extra devices such as *gasp* 3D cards.) you need a specific driver. Although the same applies in Windows, so in a nutshell, even if the specs are similar to mid range PC's I doubt it will work as I think it will require exact hardware requirements.
