[FF12] GER-Savegame loadable with UK-Version?

Hey, I just lent my UK-version of FF12 and for the time beeing I just have the german version over here.

Don't ask me for all the reasons behind this (loooong story). I'll get my UK-version back in a few weeks but until then I'd like to play a bit with the german one. So my question now is: Is it possible for me to load the german savegame with the UK-version of FF12? They're both PAL-versions, so it could work, right?

EDIT: Okay, I figured that the UK-version is SLES-54354 and GER has SLES-54356.

But couldn't I just copy the savegame to PC and somehow modify/change the SLES-number in order to play the savegame with my UK-version? Is there such a modifying tool?

EDIT2: I've found a nifty tool called "ps2savebuilder".
