RPG Music I Composed - Opinions?

I have been rekindling my love of the piano since I got my mac mini, albiet via garageband. It really is a wonderful piece of software.

So I was just jammin' as usual before I went to bed and made this. I think it would be very good for a RPG like game.

Obviously I can make it longer and add more too it.

Please excuse any timing / tempo errors, it is 1am here and I am tired. If it's liked enough I can make a perfect one

Opinions please, feel free to use it in your game, remember to give credit though

I call the song " Mysteria "

Hmmm, pretty good. Heavily reminds me of Phantasy Star Online for some reason

I didn't like it very much. I think the melody and tunes aren't very good and don't mix very well together.

Yeah, I thought the very same thing.

Zion: I thought the piece was rather simplistic. Needs quite a bit of work in my opinion.

it definitely needs some crazy drums & percussion and it would sound cool.

No offense but short little music audio clips with something of that calibre seem a dime a dozen in rpgs. Its not bad and its a good start but you need to do more with it than just having that tune play over and over in different ptiches.

Make it more complex and a longer music peace and don't just have the same audio repeat over and over with different levels of pitch, have the tune change.

Well, tbh I think it's too dissonant. It's built on an off beat triad of F# E and D
but it's in the key of B natural minor
(don't quote me, I'm just up lol)

you could add the root to the first notes to create a better grounding,
but add the octave up to still keep the airy sound

In my head I hear a heavily phased guitar breaking in muted
with some variant of a jazz drumbeat

sounds cool bro,
if you need any guitars added at somepoint then get in touch
(still trying to find use for my studio)

Alright, whats up with the spambots creating posts in other people's threads? It was better when they started their own spamthreads.

@ BigIg: quoting spam posts is a bad practice. Now 2 posts require a cleanup ;P
