ff7 help

ok first off i have played this game before but i havent played in awhile and im playing again but anyways my question is am i missing something when first visiting wutai? I was able to get all the way there without getting into the cutscene were yuffie takes my materia and everything why didnt she show up is there something im missing? help would be appreciated thanx

no i dont have yuffie i thought this is how u meet yuffie after going to rocket town you can go to wutai which is optional but its supposed to be when ur introduced to yuffie

thats probably why then.

edit- you can get yuffie in a random battle fight anytime after you leave that cave in the junon area towards the beginning of the game. i think forests areas on the world map are the best places to trigger the battle.

yeah thats how you get her. there are certain dialogue choices you have to make once you finish the battle, i dont remember exactly what they are but if you check gamefaqs or something you will probably find them.

Not all forests in the world are conductive to getting Yuffie either.

If you want to be sure, I'd reccomend going to the one near Fort Condor/Junon. That's where the enemies are the easiest too so it'll be faster for you to actually get her since the odds to get her are about 1 times out of 16 battles I believe.
