There isn't any official date, it's most likely just Gamespot/Gamefaqs taking a guess. (same people, same date)
Just like Gamestrailers or Amazon announcing the game for the 31 March 2009. Right now, I still haven't seen any official word on any release date, so really, don't get your hopes up  . A June release would be awesome, but too good to be true.

yeah, probably, they would just conveniently change the release date at will -_- (if it will still come, it will clash with GRID hehe)
