After a year working on the project, the folks over at TransGen have finally released an English translation patch for Namco X Capcom. The patch is still in beta so expect some errors. Because it looks like the millions of other links that goes to warez or something else illegal.

I agree the link looks suspect but from what I can tell, it's only a blog site... a very ugly looking one, but one none the less.

The second version of the English beta patch has been updated and released.

Change log from readme file:

Change-log! Friday, 23rd March,2008 23:32

-Tech screen lockup and item screen lockup fixed.

-Chapter 8,27,28,29 dialogue bugs fixed.

-Some miscellanous messages are fixed now.

-Some item and skill names were changed.

-Some graphical hacks are fixed now, and their
display should be ok.
