A classic. most of the old Lucas Arts adventures had great intros. Like
Thats for sure, Monkey Island had a sweet intro, but none beat Fate Of Atlantis's.

Oooh! Oooh! What about Street Fighter 2 back in the arcades? Never has more been said within 5 seconds of animation than that intro. Everybody is cheering and then that Cody knockoff slugs that anonymous black guy right in the kisser purely because he refused to wear a shirt.

To me, Square-Enix wins again with the best ending award... going to "The World Ends With You."

Best intro goes to the hardware pr0n goodness of Armored Core 4...

Full Throttle has some of the best one-liners ever. I just love the "Yeah Right." when trying to play the piano ^^

I never played full throttle...but on a DVD from NAG a gaming mag we get here in South Africa, they had the entire game as a movie I guess it's just all the cutscenes or something like that. Comes to about an hour. So I can see where all you of you people are coming from. Wasn't half bad watching it like that.

Just remembered that this game featured Mark Hamill

Yeah, that movie has even been slashdotted, as far as I can remember.

Yes, as Ripburger, among others. Mark Hamill does an enormous amount of voices in cartoons and games. The force is strong with this one.

The voice actor for Ben unfortunately died somewhere around 2001/2002 I think. Probably didn't have enough midichlorians.

the intro for crysis was really good imo...no matter what you think of the rest of the game. My vote probably goes to Kingdom Hearts for best intro, and FFVII for best outro...it simply demands a sequel

The best intro, well I personally really like Dungeon Keeper 2's intro, back in the days the FMV was simply stunning, and it got a great deal of humour in it as well.

As for the ending, this one is probably overlooked but I'm sure many will agree with me when I say that Mafia has one of the best endings ever. This one really shocked me, and that's exactly how I like it, something that leaves a lasting impression.

More precisely, it needs a sequel to that "sequel." The "sequel" was much too like a side story.
