Bullet Candy and Everyday Shooter (shmups, Steam)

Read about this on a few forums, and some shmup enthusiasts seemed to be pretty suportive of this indie game.
Since it had a new low price on steam ($3.95), I went for it.

It looks a lot like (a poor man's) Geometry Wars, although it plays differently. Not bad either. I just think it doesn't really stand out from other, similar games, and there can be better shmups had for free.
Still, it's not a bad game and the price is really low, I just expected it to be a little more special with all the backing it was getting from the enthusiasts

I waited for Everyday Shooter.
I waited a long time.

It was announced for PC a long time before PSN, and DAMMIT did they take their sweet ass time to port it -_-.
First for PC.
Then PSN exclusive.
Then PSN and PC, but with almost no news for PC.
