Lol nothing beats my time with Oblivion...about 90 hours playtime and the furthest I got in the quest was going to the entrance of the caves of that cult...and maybe about 20 sidequests completed and 1 or 2 dungeons explored...

I spent more time in even ffx-2
the most was probably star ocean 3 with 4 replays in the same file

I lost sleep playing rpgs

Obviously.
But again, they never claimed to having the real game in the CryEngine2. They simply want to show people what the game could look like.

No one in their right mind would port the whole Oblivion game in the CryEngine 2.
They really weren't trying to say "Look, we got the Oblivion game in a new engine!". It was really more just a "Look, we got the environment of Oblivion in the CryEngine 2!".
I really don't think they were claiming anything more than that, especially not having the GAME itself in another engine. That'd be too much work that could be spent on something else (like making a completely new mod instead...) or simply too much work, considering how big of a game it was.

Oh yeah? How about 3 complete months in Disgaea 2? Most characters at level 1000 or so? But they have level 10000 bosses... (and level 50000 Judges!!!!!!)

Disgaea 2 has got to be the most insane SRPG game I've ever played. First time I played it, I thought... ohh... I was leveling up fast! But from level 1 to level 10000, 10 levels a day probably won't keep up if you want to beat the damn game in less than a year!

Nah... I didn't mean to beat you or anything. I just wanted to tell you that there exists such a game that will take you over a year to beat... or advance further... should you choose to play it like it was intended to be. Sincerely, that game was really asking for some level hacks... and even then... level 100000 as the maximum (5 zeros!) sounds too insane to cheat...

yeah...that's hectic...

Well Oblivion was just...meh...it was fun for a while...and then the fun died...and then I modded for a while...and then even running around testing mods became boring...and then I got over the game...

it's not that the game was too long or anything like that....just that there was no spark...it looked good (well...it does not exactly have much competition) but that was it...it's just a lame game...

Well, if you want to mess with mods and settings, say... Crysis would be perfect!

If he can get a PC to play it now that's doubtful.

Oblivion mods are nice, I just wish it was easier to find what I want without trying them all first.

I was mainly looking for something that would remove all that scaling... But most of the mods I found for that weren't exactly good... Sad.

I think I searched for them, but still, mods usually change so much stuff that it's hard to be sure I'll like them before trying them out =.

(And I usually find out that too much was changed, or too little... And that I need another mod... Who will conflict on those that I already use x_x.)
