So i have been playing the game i have in my signature and today i got banned for "multi using" accounts which is completely wrong.

Here is the whole conversation via Personal Messages. I need you guys to tell me if i am wrong or right.

We only have 1 computer in the house. Me and my brother are playing the game. My friend told me i should inform this in case someone thinks i have multiple accounts. Whats the problem?

I check and you are playing from 2 IPs differents and 2 differents country. so why do you want IPshare?

Im sorry. But what do you mean by not respecting your post? I didnt mean to be rude. Im just a little bit upset because i was banned knowing that i am right. Im not using multiple accounts. My and Brother are playing the game. You said to "pm you first" before sharing ips. But we have been sharing the same computer for the game for like 2 or 3 weeks. I started playing the game a couple of days first when my friend saw me playing it and ask me to make him an account. I didnt know there was a rule for ip sharing untill my friend told me i had to inform this. So i registered to report the bashing and i saw this thread

So i decided to do the same. Is there anyway i can prove that i am right? You can check my brother Profile and mine. We are in completely different guilds with different friends in the game and different levels, stats and everything. My brother is working right now with my dad. Was he banned too? he is going to flip out when sees this. I'm so dead.

When you and your brother registered your account you agree 1rst with this:

So, it's not my fault if you didnt read the rules.
By repporting an IPshare and writing here "we have been sharing the same computer for the game for like 2 or 3 weeks" you confess you broke the rules.

I am waiting The GA answer concerning your ban. I think he will wrote me tonight. I hope you understand my position.
And when I said PM me first before sharing, it was because you and your brother had 2 differents IP at that time (ask him if he gave his pass to a player of his guild)

PS: even if you didnt have repported the ipshare I would find it when I make my monthly multi checking.

Cant believe this. My brother told he haven't gave his account to anyone. If this cant be solved and i stay banned, is a whole year fair? isn't that exaggerated? i was banned until 2009 =\

It says i should report it if me and brother are using the same ip. I just reported that. The rule is not specific. It doesnt say i should inform me and my brother will be using the same IP adress BEFORE playing the game. It just says "If several users ARE accessing the game using the same network IP (e.g. school, company, group house etc), the respective players are required to report such actions in the relevant server "

There's no time limit specified for reporting an ip share.It doesn't matter if we have been sharing it for weeks if i report it in time before the mods made their monthly check for ips right? am i right? or am i wrong? We have not break any rules

I think you're just being thrown around because they think you broke rules and they can't just say it. So they punish you for being right and them being wrong... That's how I understood it. But isn't that a free game? Why are they being such jackasses over it... I understand why you're angry.

The problem seems to be that your account has been accessed by TWO IP, while the rules says it's fine to report that two people account your account, but as long as it's by the same IP (or something as such).

The guy has seen your account being accessed by more than one IP, so it has been flagged.

make another message and try and be very respectful, humble and ass kissy and emphasize that you used to access the account from your college when you were there.

He probably gets a hundred emails a day and just skimmed over your email and missed certain details.

Even if its not the case ass he's being a jerk like Radix said it wouldn't hurt to send one email emphasizing very humbly and respectfully about the college ip thing.

Trying to get over the head of the guy will just piss him off, who's to say his boss will see things differently? It's possible the boss will think the same thing, or that the boss will trust his employee more than a random guy who's possibly cheating, the boss can't be sure if he was indeed cheating or not.

Before trying to talk to the boss, he should simply take everything that was said, and make a short version, to try and show that he wasn't cheating and that it was only a misunderstanding.



The guy on the other end has only seen one thing at a time, which made it look as if the OP wasn't respecting the rules, but taking them all at once could prove otherwise.

Just making a passive respectful letter with everything shown in it could prove that he wasn't cheating or abusing the rules and get a ruling in his favor.

If THAT doesn't work, then going for the boss could be a idea. But trying to not piss-off the guy who's job takes care of his account is a better idea first.
