Wow, a new King Of The Fighters. I'd used to play the old one in the arcades a long time ago but never expected this one to be getting released.

I stopped playing kof in '00, when the real SNK died. but the new animations look nice.

Other than the odd game I played in the arcades years ago Im not much of a fan of the KOF series. But cool to see they kept to the the 2D look. (Hard to tell if its 3D made too look sprite-ish or if its just really nicely don't 2D).

A lot of gamers like 2D, I haven't been impressed with the 3D yet.

Although a Tekken Tag style 3D King of Fighters with 3 on 3 fighting would be great!

I kind of liked KoF2k6, but that might be because I never really took a liking to the series prior to it.

It's ok, but it doesn't stand out from Tekken 5, Soul Calibur, Virtua Fighter 4, or any other "great" 3D fighting games.

True. And I think it was also trying to be more of a glorified 2D game - like Street Fighter EX. At least, it felt that way to me.

I didn't care for the first 2 Street Fighter EX games that much and never played the 3rd.

I own the first 2 Street Fighter EX games for my Playstation, but I don't play them that much.

I prefer Super Street Fighter 2, Hyper Street Fighter 2, or similar games.

And Street Fighter IV really looks a lot like another SF EX. It's 2.5D and it isn't tat impressive to me. For me, SF died right after SF 3 3rd Strike and SF Alpha 3

Street Fighter Alpha 3 was great on the Dreamcast and the Game Boy Advance.

the game on both systems!
