Web development changed to web / programing forum.

Due to recent requests, the Web development forum is now a Web development/ programming forum. Enjoy.

VERY nice. Now I actually have reason to visit that forum.

But why couldn't it just have a whole new forum? It wouldn't make things that much bigger would it?

Webdevelopment get lower losts and there are about 3 posts per month for programming....it is useless to make a whole forum for programming....also now we can discuss prgramming of PHP, html etc etc...!

ah... I see. So if lots of programming questions get asked, then we can get a whole new forum made?

Basically, that's the idea. But then again, a lot of inquiries has been made in the past about joining the Shiori Fan Club, yet i still don't see such a forum.

btw Beta it's "programming". At least, that's how the Americans spell it. But I guess that's just the way it's spelled over there (kinda like the color/colour thing?)

Yup, it's spelt "programming". And it's only the Canadians who spell things with a "u" (colour, favour, flavour, etc.).

We use the 'u' also.

Anyways I wasn't sure about that so I checked on www.dictionary.com and both are acceptable. "To program" is the american form of the verb and from which programing is derived. The british form is "to programme" leading to "programming". Normally I use programming but I thought I'd better use the american spelling here. However I'll change it to keep the peace.

hmmm.... I live in Canada. We don't normally put the u in color or flavor. We used to, but we dropped that with the Imperial system.

I was taught that canadians put the "o" in things color ... you know. And I live here so I think someone told you wrong. I always thought americans put the "u" in.

Why the hell have you revived a four year old thread! I clicked on that url, and nearly wanted to throw up as well. How about starting a new topic with some more details, or simply not bother with the looks of that site!
