I know of a bug. Clicking the "Mark Forums Read" link at the bottom of the index takes you to this new page instead of marking the forums read. I actually found out about this new page a few days back because of this. It's annoying not being able to mark them read, as I prefer to do so before I leave the site.

It's gonna be like that for awhile, until we can populate it with enough user-contributed news

The new page is missing quite a bit of links, namely to other affiliated networks and subsites such as Emutalk, DCemu, 1emu, subsites for projects hosted on Ngemu servers...

This direction that the site has taken already looks like a bad idea, I don't know about everyone else but i much prefer the design that Bobbi made. NGEmu looks like a media page for emulation now and the way things are set up its just plain bad. The original ngemu template seemed to be far more unique than what's being displayed today. Especially because now it looks like every other page you have networked which has absolutely nothing to do with emulation...

I don't have any feature request, but you guys could have atleast taken a lesson from the original ngemu and adopt its style in developing a style worthy of replacing the original.

I guess im complaining, but im also trying to help. I suppose things change as time moves on, but i imagine many people aren't entirely happy about this decision. You all know who you are...

lol. Like you said, you are complaining.
I know some of you adored bobbi (great guy) but you dont need to bring his name in every decision the new owners take (putting it in bold doesnt make your point any more valid). Anywho.

From what I've read in the admin section, the staff (yes yes, the same staff as in the Bobbi days) seem to like the possibilities with this frontpage. Adding new stuff seems less a hassle than before because of the way it's integrated to vBulletin. This also means that more content created by YOU (the members) might end up on the frontpage.

Sure the articles that are currently there might not be the best. They were picked out by cg's designer with the limited knowledge she might have with emulators. Of course this will change overtime once we start adding the stuff we like.

We're always looking for more ideas, keep them coming.

Hey this is really nice.
Thanks for the update.

I think the reviews would look nice on the frontpage too.

Indeed, I was thinking about that earlier. It'll be nice to have our talented writers showcased.

The new design *looks* good. It's lacking in emulation news though atm but I hope that will change as it gets updated though.

This looks ok.
But i hope the forum-part of the site keeps it layout, since this looks quite a bit like a youtube-comment-field for example, and i find it a bit "narrow" in the design so it would be harder to format ones sentences in an easy-to-read way.

I.e, i wish the style of the Front-page comment-based fields won't brush off into the forum. It's too thin.

The front page looks great! But one thing, maybe I'm blind or going crazy, but where is the new posts link?

Very slick and clean design. I I like the improvement. Most people judge a book by its cover so, having a good front page is a great idea.

OMG the site looks amazing. It's missing some things like forum highlights and emu news but its definitely on the right track.

Edit: Perhaps I take some of the praise back. It seems the frontpage has been carbon-copy cloned from the other sites the new owners own. Please checkout "Visit our other communities" at bottom of frontpage.

I guess they want them all to look the same? Strike 1 for originality.
