Weird controller problem in Shenmue II

Hi, I've searched the net relentlessly for a solution to this headache but I just can't seem to find one, so maybe someone here can help me.

I'm playing Shenmue II in NullDC v1.0.0 beta 1.6 using an Xbox 360 wired controller and the game plays fine, except when I reach the point in the game where I learn the Iron Palm and one of the Wude. Everything's fine at first when I do the move, but when I am instructed to cover the ground with leaves it seems the A and X buttons stop responding and the only button that does respond is the B button. The analog is also wonky when I use it to move Ryo; he turns to the left repeatedly, but that's not such a big deal, as I can use the D-pad but the other problem keeps me from progressing pretty much unless I switch back to the keyboard, which I suck at playing with one. Has anyone else experienced this? I suppose it could be my controller but I had the same problem with another Xbox 360 controller and we just recently got this one. If you have a solution, please let me know.

ok i'm new with this emulator but have used tons of other emus

have used software that came with my saitek cyborg controler to to map the keys and it works problem is that i cant get the diagonal buttons to work,
the controller has an 8 direction dpad, i tried mapping the diagonals to read as ,lets say the up and right position on the pad is "up+right" but it doesnt work
in the emulator when i set them to other keys like i set "w" as up and "d" as right i set the diagonal as "w+d" it still doesnt work if i use a notepad the controller actually types "wd" so this confirms that the controller is putting out the keys but it doesnt work on the emulator
if you use the keyboard and press the 2 keys at the same time you get the daigonal movement but i'm unable to get my controller to do it
i been scratching my head for a while on this any potential help would be apreciated

the emulator works great only snag is the control issue

Sound problems with Shenmue

Hi everyone. I have searched high and low for a solution to my problem but haven't had any luck.

If I run Shenmue on beta 1.6 the game runs fine and the sound is fine, but there's the well-known transparency issue to deal with.

On 1.0.3 the graphics are much improved and the game runs even more smoothly, but all the voices in the game sound really tinny, as if you're listening to them through a terrible set of speakers. There is no popping, clicking or lagging. The quality of the voices is just really poor, and it doesn't occur in the beta version.

I'm running Windows Vista and have already set the buffer to 2046. This is a seperate issue.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

Problem Emulating Sonic Adventure 2 - Freezing after 60 seconds of emulation

Hi there, For some reason, and i dont know why, My Emulator is freezing after the first 60 seconds or so of emulation in game, and its inexplicable in my eyes. The only modifications ive made to the emulator, is running it at 1366x768 resolution, increasing the audio buffer to 2048, and running Xpadder in the background. is there any way to fix this problem?

i will give any info needed to try and get this figured out.

I apologise for this multiple thread, it was unintentional

A few questions regarding running nullDC on frontends

First off, tip of my hat for the awesome emulator.

On another note. I wanted to ask if it's at all possible to run nullDC through a command line. I've just finished building my own Arcade Cabinet and I'm currently running mamewah as a front-end for the thing. I was hoping to add Dreamcast to the console roster I currently have. Being able to play Marvel vs Capcom 2 on it would be a dream come true.

Also every time I restart the emulator the player 2 remote gets unplugged. I need to plug it in (through the file menu) everytime I run the emulator. Is it supposed to behave that way or am I doing something wrong (the buttons I set up for it don't change though).

And finally, is there a way to set it up so I can exit the emulator using just the ESC key? I quickly scanned the nulldc.cfg file but could not see any way to set it up.

With thanks
