Hello. Anybody played KH RE: CoM? If so can you tell me how to optimize the PCSX2 to play it better? I have few problems.
1. The FMV`s subtitles are going faster than the diagogues
2. Some FMVs freez after they end (usually the ones when Sora and Donald and Goofy are talking after entering different floors)
3. I had no music with SPUX2 but now I am using PeOP spu and everything is OK.
4. I am using the latest versions with the new gui.
Thanx :)

I installed from the offical site and added the beta after many issues and managed to make the iso open and work to the extent that it was working at an average of 26% fps (getting as far as the opening movie and main menu, the graphics seemed normal, just slow, laggy and with bad sound). I was trying to resolve this by purely tweaking the configuration when I started getting this message:

'The Gs plugin failed to open/initialize. '

Here are my graphics settings, I have tried rebooting a few times already.
Any help would be mucho appreciated :)

Hi

I have pcsx2 and tried to play Harvest Moon A Wonderful Life Special Edition. It works ok, but when game starts (next day when you wake up at 5 am) I can do everything except move forwards and back. 'Up' and 'Down' don't work. I can only use menus and left and right. Controllers are working for other games great.

Does someone has an anser to this or has same problem?

Thanks

I tried 3 different coltroller plugins (LillyPad 0.9.9.; SSSPSX PAD Plugin Pressure Mod 1.7.0.; PADwinKeyb Driver 0.9.0.) and it's same with any of them. They all can move right and left, but no back and forward.

Alright, I bought another computer with these specs:

AMD Turion(tm) 64 x2 mobile technology TL-64 MMX 3DNOW(2 CPU) 2.2GHZ
ati radeon x1250 128mb
896 mb of RAM

I tried playing ffx and I got an adverge of 50 fps in the game 60 fps on FMV, however the graphics were all messed up. It was also a flicker. I got 50-60 fps in KH:COM. Im running them both from disc.

So yeah, what would be the best config for my PC? Also what games would run ok on my pc?
Thanks alot guys.

Hmm,

Guys, I use Lily Pad 0.9.9,
I'm trying to use my Dual Shock Controller,

but when I add analog to the controller,
It seem to eat up 1, 2, 3, 4 or SQUARE, TRIANGLE, CIRCLE, CROSS..

Any Idea?
I'm going to test other methods, or way for now.
--
Tested 0.10.0 or something (latest),
Still the same.
--
SSSPSX PAD Plugin Pressure Mod 1.7.0
Testing right now.

It seems that what is RY? or RX?
Also, when I use them, going front, or forward isn't possible, same for back.

I'm playing KH2.
--
Fixed, I used Lily Pad (Latest),
I only enabled "Use Analog Stick / Mode whenever possible",
then fixed the keys, then, tada.

Sorry for posting,
I didn't thought that my stupidity can fix something too.

Sudden slowdown in FFX International

when i first downloaded Pcsx2 and threw in my copy of FFX international i couldnt crack 15 fps. i did some reading around and after downloading Gsdx 0.1.8 SSE3 my game played around an average of 55-60 fps. After saving my game this morning and loading it up this afternoon i havent been able to crack 30fps. I thought it might be the particular point i had reached in the game but when i loaded my save state for the Yunalesca battle which i completed this morning at 60fps i was dealing with the same drastically reduced speed. Any idea what went wrong?

How to skip FMV (Final Fantasy X)

Hi guys - yes, I know I'm a noob, but at least I'm not a pirate. :)

Anyway, I have a copy of Final Fantasy X - it's PAL, Platinum, and scratched. Oh my! When I went to rip it it had a lot of errors. Now, I've been playing the game fine up until I come up to this one FMV cutscene (where assumedly the "scratched" data is) where it freezes (well, not so much a freeze - but it keeps replaying the same 1/2 a second of cutscene as it fails to load the next bit) at exactly the same bit every time. Basically I want to skip it.

I have searched on the interwebs, tried making a patch myself (and failing), running it in native off the original disc with speedhacks turned off in native mode 640x480, running different builds - and still the same freezing. Now, I could swear I remember a really old build of PCSX2 or GSdx or something that had the option of skipping FMV. Does anyone know what it is? If not, is there any other way of skipping the FMV?

BTW, I'd prefer not to make a screenie because it takes ages to get from the save point up to the bit it freezes on, but if you want to know where it is exactly it's the FMV cutscene right after Tidus wakes up from his dream screaming "I hate you!" (just after you do the orb puzzly thing and find the summoner) It freezes at the bit when the guardian woman's breasts fill the entire screen - seriously.

Thank you in advance for your time and help,
~Esposch

P.S. How much of the game is just driving Tidus around from cutscene to cutscene? I'm pretty sure in the 2 gameplay hours I've put in so far, there have been about 20 minutes of gameplay...
