Conservative Bible Project - Conservapedia (http://conservapedia.com/Conservative_Bible_Project)

Has anyone seen this? Apparently Conservapedia is calling for a "Conservative Bible Project" where all so-called liberal biases are removed from the bible (using KJV as the source).

I especially like point #7:

Express Free Market Parables; explaining the numerous economic parables *with their full free-market meaning*

I guess in this version of the bible Jesus only cures those people on private health care:rolleyes:

I'm becoming more and more convinced that Conservapedia is some kind of big fat joke. How can anyone actually take such projects seriously?

Gameboy in the Toy Hall of Fame

The best-selling portable system ever is now a hall of famer.

In honor of its revolutionary features and impact on pop culture, Nintendo's original Game Boy has been inducted into The National Toy Hall of Fame.

"Over the past two decades, Game Boy has become synonymous with hand-held gaming fun" the Hall said in a release. "Its portability and efficient design, ability to allow simultaneous multiplayer gaming, and scores of intriguing games (like Tetris and Super Mario Land, featuring Nintendo's already-iconic character Mario) make it a true innovator."

The Game Boy beat out nine other classic toys -- including Hot Wheels, Cabbage Patch Kids and the Rubik's Cube -- to earn a spot as one of three inductees in this year's class. The others? The iconic Big Wheel and the ubiquitous "ball," which somehow took a decade before getting the green light. Who's voting on these things, anyway?

Nintendo's potent portable is now the second video game system to earn Hall honors, joining the landmark Atari 2600, which was inducted in 2007.

Woman passes 950th driving test

---Quote---
A South Korean woman is celebrating after passing the written exam for a driving license - on her 950th attempt.

After four years of trying, 68-year-old Cha Sa-soon finally managed to secure the 60 out of 100 points needed to pass the test.

The grandmother has spent more than 5m won ($4,200, £2,600) on application fees for the test.

Now Mrs Cha, who lives in Jeonju, 130 miles (210km) south of Seoul, must pass the practical test to get on the road.

'Don't give up'

According to the Korean Driver's License Agency, the 50-minute written test consists of 50 multiple-choice questions on road regulations and car maintenance.

Mrs Cha had been trying to pass it since 13 April 2005, the Korea Times reported.

She wanted a license so that she could use a vehicle to sell vegetables and other goods, the newspaper said.

And her determination to pass the test has made her well-known at the Jeonju centre.

"She is really famous here. Not only agency employees but even some test-takers know her. Her challenging spirit is really amazing," one official was quoted as saying.

Speaking in February - after her 775th failure - Mrs Cha had appeared undaunted.

"I believe you can achieve your goal if you persistently pursue it," she told Reuters news agency.

"So don't give up your dream, like me. Be strong and do your best."
---End Quote---
BBC NEWS | Asia-Pacific | Woman passes 950th driving test (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/8347164.stm)

Now I can only guess she's going to be the "best driver ever". (/sarcasm)
