I'm using Pete's OpenGL2 Driver 2.7 video plugin and Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41 sound plugin.

Anyone who has got this game working perfectly, please tell me which settings you've used.

Note: I would like to play the game with enhanced graphics (well, character sprites) if possible, because I have another emulator that works fine, but graphics are just the same they are on the PSX itself, so it's kinda pointless.

Hello everyone!

So I upgraded from 1.7 today and had to do some re-configurations to my ePSXe settings, because the 1.8 sound plugin doesn't work and just crackles but anyway, it all seems to be running perfectly for me now.

My question is this:

My laptop has fn key shortcuts to perform tasks like changing the brightness, volume, print screen ect. as most modern laptops do. However, when I do this a graphic pops up that, when ePSXe is running, changes the picture dramatically.

Here's an example, the opening to Capcom's Dino Crisis...

This is how the game looks normally. The image is smoothed, much like the smoothing options on Xbox LIVE Arcade games like Marvel vs. Capcom 2 however due to the muted colours and such it can make the image look slightly darker and the text and images, such as the face and the map, are too blurry for my tastes.

As you can see, the image changes drastically when I trigger the fn key volume shortcut. The image has a much better pop to it and is much sharper. As I said before, this is like switching between the Classic and Smooth options of MvC2 as seen below.

Here's my graphics/video settings for ePSXe.

Is there any way to remove the smoothing effect and keep the image looking this sharp? Any help is appreciated! Thanks for reading!

It looks like the fast food giant McDonalds isn’t a fan of Google Glass. Jose Luis Barajas shared an interesting picture on his Google+ profile.

The picture shows off a “Google Glass is banned on these premises” sign, pasted clear as day at a Sacramento based Micky D’s.

The interesting part is that Glass isn’t out to the public yet and we’re already seeing problems in public.

Why do you think McDonalds has their Big Macs in a bunch? Public privacy? or maybe they don’t want what goes on behind close doors to be captured?

Regardless of what the reason is, it sure makes for an interesting story and also raises the question if more companies will be closing doors to Glass? Part of me wants to think it’s a fake sign, but after examing the image (which can be seen below), it seems to legit. I am actually excited for glass too, hopefully it doesn’t get ruined before launch.
Would there be a way to run that code standalone? Is anyone skilled and willing enough to show me a way how? It's probably the nicest clock widget anyone could hope to want, and nobody really appreciates it for what it is, so I'm sure if people were made aware of the chance to use it solely as a background or a screensaver the demand for it would jump.
does anything like that already exist?
