getting vibration working

hi


i bought one of those cheap (like $3 / £2) blue triangle usb thingies.

it didnt come with a driver disc and windows detected it fine. everything works but vibration.

any ideas?

Whats the best way of connecting a proper psx controller to the pc?

the driver itself does not support rumble.... its too bad you didn't go the PSX/2 > Xbox > Usb route, then you could've used XBCD.

yeah, you plug the ps2 control into an xbox adapter, then plug the xbox adapter into a usb adapter (xbox and usb are the same interface, just different plug shape), and then if you were to give me the device ID (since i don't have any xbox adapter id's atm) then i could rustle up a build of XBCD that would let your ps2 control work with XBCD, with rumble.

right i have got it setup with vibration now in my control panel game controllers.

BUT

not in expsxe what are all these rumble settings and what do they mean?

Thats for you to play with and determine the correct setting.

Rumble device should be set to Dxjoy1 though.
