my nvidia card doesnt appears on the Select Device menu

Im using Pete's D3D (DX6) 1.74 Renderer. When I try to select my device, the menu shows Primary vídeo driver as only option to select. I wonder Its happening cause windows XP don't deal with dx 7 version and below. So, what I have to do? Am I cursed to play whithout any hardware acceleration?

Operating System: Windows XP Professional
Processor: AMD Athlon(TM) XP 1800+, MMX, 3DNow, ~1.2GHz
Memory: 512MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce2 MX/MX 400

Hello LinoGermano and welcome to Ngemu Forums.
Have you more than one graphics card in your PC? If no so don't bother with, the "primary device" which will be used will be your Geforce.Don't worry, the hardware acceleration will be effective.
You should also upgrade to Pete's 1.76 plugins.

Yeah! I have. But one off them is onboard. I dont know the name of this one. All I can say Its worst than NVIDIA CARD. Anyway I´m using my monitor connected to Nvidia card and obviously using the correct drivers. I'm not sure if the other graphic card's drivers are installed. Guess no. It doesnt appear in my system.

maybe your directx is messed, try installing newest one. BTW Pete's D3D (DX6) 1.74 Renderer as the name suggests it uses DX6 so your card is fine.
