rumble pads

hi i have a logitech rumble pad2 i believe its called (looks just like the old ps pad)

anyway ive gone thru the setup for it and all the buttons and analog sticks work fine but i cannot get the rumble bit working...

i dont have any logitech drivers installed could this be the problem ?

In part yes.The generic windows driver don't "know" that your pad can use rumble.You'll need drivers from Logitech in order to "activate" the rumble feature.

But be aware that the rumble function with ePSXe is "weak", if I can use this term.The only game I've success to make work with was Silent hill.For FF8 and Parasite eve 2 For exemple, nothing....Better try other emulators like PCSX or pSX if you really want to use rumble...

in epsxe, my psx/ps2 controllers use rumble 24/7, so i just disabled the rumble feature, doesnt bother me
