Multiple CDs in Image Making Wizard with Alcohol 120
Hello everyone...ULTRA noob here (I have no problem admitting that.) and I wanted to know something; can you take multiple CDs and create one image file? (I'm trying to take FF7 on PSX and rip it to one specific image file to be used with my epsxe160...I just found out I could do this AN HOUR ago so I think I'm doing pretty well. I have the original disk. So no flaming me about not buying stuff.) I think I know who is going to end up answering this...but rather than doing the super noob thing and trying to email this guy...lets see if he grabs the bait. I NEED HELP!

So I'd just make as many ISOs as needed and do what the FAQs on Alcohol told me to do: make some sort of "hotswap" key and use that to jump from Disk 1 to 2...etc etc...
So does EVERY .iso maker/program thingie go one-for-one with multiple disks for the same game, or is there one that can do what I originally asked? I'm also on a mad goose chase for the bios/plugin/everything else I need to make this epsxe work...any suggestions for a "one-stop" website to get it all?

Plugins: http://www.ngemu.com/psx/plugins.php?cat=1&os=win32
Bios: Dump the bios from your own PSX. |

Just make one ISO for each disc, go trought this guide.
For Plugins go here, as for bios you are on your own, try google to find some information about dumping one. hehe, JkKdArK you were faster i was looking for guides.

Okay..I've found a way to create an .iso file...thats not a problem.
I'm a little confused about this page that Jkkd has sent me to..there are multiple files for graphic, sound, CD, and input plugins...I think I just need graphic, sound, and CD for epsxe, right? Are ALL of these files for epsxe only? These seem like their for more than one emulator.... So...looks like Im on the grind for the PSX bios....I wont ask because of the rules..(yeah, a NOOB who read the rules...the world is coming to an end..) How exactly would you dump a bios on a PSX? My PSX is...um...taking some time off. Or should I say...he's in a better place now. Looks like a "I know more" race...I'll take all the info I can get. Let the race begin! :guitar: You guys ROCK! |

Those plugins are psemu pro type plugins and they are used by many emulators (ePSXe, PSXeven, PCSX, SSSPSX, AdriPSX, PSEmupro etc...).
For BIOS look at this thread, but i already told you what would be the best.

Okay...Im in the process on googling the PSX BIOS now...its just redirecting me to a bunch of silly anime porn/porn websites...the misses is not very happy. :cuss2:
I'll take "I'm a NOOB for 1000, Alex..." Whaddaya know? The DAILY DOUBLE! Here goes: Which of those plug ins work best for ePSXe? I think this may turn into a debate..but I'll take the guidance just the same. Also, do I NEED an controller plug in thingie if my bootleg controller is working just fine with my computer and my other emulators? I dont think I would...but I never underestimate the power of noob-dom. Now I will wait for a response....and dance!

Yeah, about the BIOS, don't talk about it anymore, i help you about that the best i could
![]() Look trough this thread, that should answer on your questions. You don't need pad plugin for ePSXe, it uses internal one.

Okay...I've downloaded and installed Pete's GPU Plugins v1.76. Should I have went with the P.E.Op.S instead?
The game begins..but the credits scroll in REALLY FAST. Its like the whole thing is in fast forward or something...then it repeats. Do I use the OpenGL, the D3D, or the DX6D? I'm thinking DX is Direct X...and I have the newest DX...so DX6D... All of them are scrolling fast...awaiting further instructions...man it feels like I'm in uniform or something.. |
