Problems with Shane Warne Cricket 99'

Hi all, just hired out this game, and burning it onto computer via means of ISO, and im using Alcohol 120%, have already done FFIX on it, and it makes a file called .mds instead of the standard .iso . I got ePSXe 1.5.2 amd 1.6.0 and it seems to work on cdrom untill the part where "Shane Warne Cricket 99" scrolls across the screen. The music seems to still be playing but no new frames. Any thoughts?
