Can I Create ROMs?

I'm not sure if this is against the rules but I was wondering if there is any way or some software that enables you to create PSX ROMs? My Playstation is getting old and rejecting some games I put in and I wanted to play Final Fantasy VII on my computer emulator. If that is possible do you know if there is a way to transfer your memory card data to your computer with buying anything? Any help would be appreciated.

There is no such thing as "PSX ROMS." You use the original games with an emulator or, if you prefer, you can transfer them to your PC as an ISO, which will make the game run faster in some cases.

Not that I know of. The cheapest and easiest method would probably just to get a PSX Dex Drive and a memcard converter.

How would I transfer them to the computer as an IFO. Should I use Clone CD or some other program?

ISO seems to be the most widely used and the cleanest to make. Instead of having 4 different files laying around you just have your "Game.iso" Like Reichfuher said, I would use ISO buster. It is a very simple program to use. If you don't want to spend money on a memcard device, you may find similar save here: http://www.gamefaqs.com/console/psx/index.html Click on the Letter that you gae starts with them twards the top it will tell you if there are game saves for that game. (usually there are)
